Ms. Alexandria Romano

School Counselor

Hey everyone! My name is Alexandria Romano, and I am SO excited for this school year at BT Bullock!

I’m originally from Lenoir, NC and graduated from Appalachian State University (Roll Neers!!) with both my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in School Counseling. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, playing tennis and volleyball, and cheering on the Panthers during football season.

As the school counselor, my role is to support all students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. I work with students one-on-one, in small groups, and through classroom lessons to help them build important life skills. I also partner with teachers and families to make sure every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

My goal is to create a welcoming space where every student feels valued and cared for. I’m looking forward to connecting with students, families, and staff throughout the year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions, concerns, or just want to connect—I’m here for you!

Character Education at BT Bullock!

Each month we will focus on a different character trait. We accomplish this by integrating character education into guidance lessons and through our schoolwide PBIS program. There will also be a cart in the media center with books relating to each month's topic for students and teachers to choose from. I encourage you to ask your child what character trait they are learning about.
