Our school aligns its practices with Lee County School District's Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). MTSS is a multi-tiered framework which promotes school improvement through engaging, research-based academic and behavioral practices as well as Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and family engagement. Lee County MTSS employs a systems approach using data-driven problem-solving to maximize growth for all. Lee County's MTSS framework is aligned with the North Carolina Framework for Multi Tiered Systems of Support.

Addressing students' behavior can be tough, but it's possible to approach them with compassion. The challenge is to keep control of a class and not enable the challenging behavior to disrupt pupils' learning environment. Teachers work to create a well-designed classroom that is engaging and developmentally appropriate by implementing schedules, rules, and routines.
