Home of the LCHS Academy of Engineering!

Although it will undoubtedly be an unusual school year and this may cause some uneasiness we are still very excited to welcome students back in the virtual format! This year we will all be learning as we navigate not only our engineering content but also the necessary technology for online learning. I am excited to do both with all of you!

This semester my schedule will be the following:
1st Block: Foundation of Engineering Technolgy Honors Part A
2nd Block: Foundation of Engineering Technolgy Honors Part A
3rd Block: Applications of Engineering Technolgy Honors Part B

 We will be using a few different formats to deliver instruction during this time for these classes.

1st: Our starting point for daily instructions and many assignments will be Canvas. Depending on the day we may have assignments directly through Canvas or it may serve as an agenda and jumping-off point to another resource such as the Paxton/Patterson Learning Management System our primary content provider.

2nd: We will have live face-to-face instruction on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday online via Google Meet. More on what this will look like day to day will be explained at the first Google Meet.

3rd: as noted above we will be using the Paxton/Patterson Learning Management System. Account creation will be discussed during one of our Google Meet face to face sessions when we are ready to use this format. 

It is very important that students regularly attend the live online class sessions as well as complete the online asynchronous assignments posted on Canvas. This fall will be very different from last spring's online learning experience in that attendance will be taken and grades will be given for the assignments.
