Hello!

   My name is Jessica Cavallaro and I have been teaching for over fifteen years. I love teaching, particularly about government, history, and politics. This is an incredibly exciting course because we will be able to explore government systems and develop knowledge about personal finance. The purpose of this course will be to develop organizational, writing, metacognitive and critical thinking skills that are essential to developing a love of learning. 

   I was born and raised in New York, where I attended Pace University and Mercy College. I am passionate about learning how to learn and have dedicated a large part of my career to figuring out ways to learn effectively. I love to read, cook, and run long distances. I am happy to share recipes,  book recommendations, and travel adventures!
