Greetings Rocket family,

My name is La’ Keisha McNeil.  I will be the Academic Coach here at East Lee Middle School. I am a native of Sanford and a product of Lee County schools.  I began my career at J. Glenn Edwards elementary school as an instructional assistant in 2008.  I was transferred to West Lee Middle school and worked as an EC Instructional assistant/bus driver until 2012.  In 2012, I continued my career at West Lee Middle school as a Math teacher/Basketball coach.  In 2018, I transferred to Lee County High school to be a math teacher and coach the varsity women’s basketball team.  

This will be my first year at East Lee Middle school in my new position as an Academic coach.  I am excited to work with our staff, students, parents, and community to help ensure the success of the students at East Lee Middle school. Go Rockets!
