Welcome! My name is Candace Smith and this will be my 5th year as a teacher and 8 years in all that I have worked at J. Glenn Edwards. I am native to Lee County and have called it home for 39 years now. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from St. Andrews University (GO KNIGHTS) in Laurinburg, NC. I am married and have a son who attends Lee County High School as a Junior this year. My husband and I also own our own heating & air business together.  I am an extreme pet lover. I have 6 dogs and 1 cat. I enjoy reading in my spare time and crafting. I have high expectations for this 2023-2024 school year and I truly BEElieve that it is going to be a great year!
