Welcome to Mr. Lahr's Science Classroom!!

 Greetings, my name is Sam Lahr. I will be your son or daughter's Physical Science Teacher this year. This is my 3rd year teaching at Lee County High School and a total of 9 years of teaching. It is exciting to see my student's progress throughout the year and I ALWAYS encourage parent involvement. Please feel free to email me with any questions and/or concerns.

Physical Science is the study of the inorganic world. That is, it does not study living things (Those are studied in biology or life science.) The four main branches of physical science are astronomy, physics, chemistry, and the Earth sciences, which include meteorology and geology.  The entire Physical Science curriculum follows the NC Standard Course of Study.
