M.A. Middle Eastern Studies, 2012 Wayne State University
I have been teaching English literature & composition and Arabic language since 2012. This is my first year teaching at the High School level. In the past, I have taught at various colleges, universities, and in community-based settings both in the USA and abroad. Currently, I also teach English Composition I online at University of the People.
I love teaching English because books are windows into history, culture, and humanity. Without self-expression, we couldn't change the world, even if we tried. We need to be able to read, write, and think effectively so we can make the world a better place. But most importantly, so we can find our place in it!
