Deirdre WalrathEnglish DepartmentDeirdre Walrath earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at UNC Chapel Hill and her Masters of Art in American and African American Literature at North Carolina A&T State University. She joined the faculty at Lee County High School five years ago with a focus on two of the Literary Renaissance Periods. She has worked in the area of Education since 2013 and has been teaching since 2015 with an emphasis placed on building a community that engages, inspires, challenges and values the creative and individual student voice.
