    Family Fun at Disney  
       Hi!  I am Ashley Matsik and am very excited to begin my 5th year at Deep River after teaching for 8 years in Wake County!  I live in Cary with my husband, Jamie, who is a PE teacher, and we love spending time with our two sweet children Malli (4 years old) & Graham (2 years old).  We love playing outside and going to cheer on the Pirates at ECU football games.  
     

       I grew up in Sanford and am a proud product of Lee County Schools!  My mom, Peggy Mann, is a Lee County School Social Worker and my dad, Chuck Mann, teaches automotives at CCCC. 

     

       In May of 2006, I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and K-12 Licensure in Reading.  I continued my education and graduated in May of 2007 with a Masters in Elementary Education and my Academically & Intellectually Gifted Licensure.
