    INSPIRED. 2017-18 Carpentry House Sale Ties Record

    If you can’t beat a record, at least tie for best, right? That’s what Lee County and Southern Lee high school students did after the carpentry house they built last year recently sold for $81,000, matching the all-time record for such sales.

    By all accounts, it was going to be a pretty routine staff meeting. Southern Lee High School Principal Dr. Chris Dossenbach had had to reschedule the professional development session once already due to Hurricane Florence, but that had actually given him more time to prepare, to meet with his team of assistant principals and make sure everything went according to plan. It was not to be for the 2018-19 Principal of the Year.
