Hello! I am Mrs. Hickman. I teach Family and Consumer Sciences at SanLee Middle School.

This year my 6th graders will learn about Nutrition and Wellness, 7th graders will learn Apparel and Interior Design and 8th graders will learn Personal Finance and Hospitality. Each class is filled with exciting life skills.

I am a Lee County native and attended Meredith College where I earned my B.S. in Fashion Design and Merchandising. I then earned my teaching license in Family and Consumer Sciences and later earned my National Board Certification. I have 18 years of teaching experience in North Carolina.

My husband and I have four wonderful children and stay very busy!
