Hello Tiger Sharks!!! My name is Megan O'Shaughnessy and I am so excited to be back at Tramway for my fifth year. This will be my 20th year in Lee County Schools as a school counselor. I came to Lee County upon getting my masters from UNC Charlotte and have been here ever since. I live in Lee County with my two children and two crazy dogs. I very much enjoy the beach and spending time with my family.
My objective as a school counselor has always been to instill a love of school and life-long learning so that our students can set goals for their future and enjoy the journey towards reaching those goals. College and career readiness is a primary focus for my counseling program and the basis for our journey to the future.
I will be implementing my counseling program through individual, small group and whole class sessions. Topics will be selected based on school data as well as needs assessments.
