How can I find out what bus my child rides?
You may call the school or click Bus Routes on the left to view the bus schedule.

What do I need to have to register my child?
You will need two proofs of residency. This must include a lease/rental agreement or mortgage statement along with a utility bill. You will also need to bring a copy of the child’s shot record and birth certificate.

How early can I drop my student off in the morning?
Supervision will be provided beginning at 7:30 a.m. The school is not open prior to 7:30 a.m. so please do not drop your children off before this time.

What is the latest I can sign my child out of school?
Students being picked up early must be signed out by 2:10 pm due to security reasons. If you are picking your child up early and are here after 2:10 pm you must go through the car rider line. If your child normally rides a bus and is being picked up early you must send a written note to school with them or they will be put on their normal bus. Phone calls and/or fax requests to make a bus change are not permitted.

What time is breakfast served in the mornings?
Breakfast begins when the first bus arrives and ends when the last bus arrives. Usually this time is 7:25 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.

What time does the first bell ring?  7:30 a.m. -- this is to notify everyone that the building is open

When does the tardy bell ring?  8:00 a.m.

Can I call and speak to my child’s teacher during the day?
If you call during the day, you will be directed to the teacher’s voicemail system. Teachers check their voicemail several times a day, and they will return your call as soon as possible. We will not interrupt instructional time for phone calls. Please schedule a conference if you need to meet with the teacher so we can maintain our commitment to our children during the school day and protect instructional time.

Can I eat lunch with my child?
Yes. Parents may eat lunch with their children, but it is courteous to let the teacher know at least one day in advance. We are overcrowded and the lunch room is one of our areas that is impacted the most. We welcome you, but please be respectful and understand that space is limited.

Can I send medicine to school with my child?
No. Students requiring medicine must have the proper forms on file, and the parent must bring in the medicine. To obtain these forms please contact our school nurse Mary Hawley Oates.
