    • Kaleidoscope is a week-long summer enrichment camp offered to AIG-identified 5th grade (rising 6th grade) students.
    • Periscope is a week-long summer enrichment camp offered to AIG-identified 7th and 8th grade (rising 8th and 9th grade) students. 
    • Each student participates in one course with an expert teacher where they can explore a topic in greater depth than what is usually possible during the school year. 
    • The cost of the camp is $100 per student. 
    • 2023 Kaleidoscope Courses may include: 
      • Up, Up, and Away: Hot Air Balloons
      • Da Vinci's Inventions 
      • Code Studio
      • Forensics
      • Music/Theater
      • Visual Art
    • 2023 Periscope Courses may include:
      • COLOR: The Biology, Chemistry, and Physics of Light
      • DIMENSION: The Art and Math of the Fourth Dimension
      • STRUCTURE: Discovering and Modeling the Molecules of Biotechnology
      • DEPTH: Where Engineering and Biology Meet on the Ocean Floor
      • RHYTHM: The Convergence of Language, Sound, and Movement
    • Kaleidoscope also includes a one-day trip to Raleigh to allow students to learn about North Carolina history, government, art, and culture in person! 
    • Periscope also includes a three-day/two-night trip to Washington, D.C. to allow students to learn about American history, government, art, and culture in person!
