Welcome to Mrs. Persons' and Mrs. Jackson's class!  We are excited to have your child in our class!  I love working with children and watching them grow and learn.  I have always known I wanted to teach.  When I was younger, I used to line my dolls up and 'teach" them.  

I met Mrs. Jackson when I was doing some student teaching at one of our local child care centers.  When I was hired to teach at Warren Williams, I reached out to her to see if she wanted to work with me again, and she agreed.  She has worked with preschool aged children for more than 7 years.  I think we make a great team!  An interesting fact for you to know about me is, I came to school here at Warren Williams when I was a child, fifty years ago.  

I have been married for more than 20 years, and I have a beautiful daughter who teaches in a small Christian school in South Carolina.  I am excited to say that I am expecting my first grandchild in November of this year.  She is the reason I chose to go back to school to become a teacher.  I watched her teach in her own classroom, and thought to myself, "I want to do that!"
