My name is Doug Simmons, and I am so happy to be a part of the Stallion Nation! I am a Health & Physical Education teacher at SanLee, 

Although I am an avid Yankee fan, I attended UNCP and graduated with my Masters in Health and Physical Education. My wife Kirsten works at Campbell University and my children attend BT Bullock and Southern Lee High School.  We spend a lot of time watching our kids play sports and genuinely love every moment of it.  

I love the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys and Syracuse University Basketball.   I currently Coach My son Derek's 10U baseball team ans travel around to watch Brooke play softball on weekends.
