Welcome to East Lee Middle School! My name is Maggie Flowers. I am excited to meet all of you! Get excited and pumped for a great school year! We are going to have a fantastic time in Band and Orchestra class!

I live in Spring Lake with my husband, James, our two children, Anne Marie (plays violin and is majoring in Theater Education at Liberty University) and Timothy (plays trumpet in the LCHS Marching Band), and our beagle, Bella. 

I began teaching in Lee County in 1997.  While in Lee County I have been a Drama, General Music, Music Technology, Band, and Orchestra teacher.  I am happy to now be teaching Band and Orchestra!  I am also the Assistant Band Director for the Lee County High School Marching Yellow Jacket Band!
 
I love music and believe that every child who has the desire to participate in band or orchestra should have that experience during their time in school.  I expect all of my students to participate, work hard, be dedicated, be responsible, work together, and have fun!!
