Ms. Elayne Monjar
Hello, my name is Elayne Monjar! I am happy to be working as an assistant principal at SanLee Middle School this year!! I am excited to be working with the best group of teachers, staff, and administrators in Lee County Schools. I am the administrator over 6th grade and buses.
As an administrator, I want to ensure all students receive a well-rounded education in a safe environment for all learners. I will work with the administrative team, teachers, staff, and families to ensure that our students enjoy their middle school experience.
As a NC Teaching Fellow, I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from Elon University. After graduating from Elon University, I was lucky enough to find Lee County Schools and be hired as a Social Studies teacher at Lee County High School. During my time at LCHS, I found my passion for supporting students and encouraging them to find their path in life. I worked with students in various organizations and taught different classes. I was named Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year.
In the fall of 2020, I was named as Lee County School's representative for the Sandhills Region Education Consortium's Principal Development Program. With the SREC program, I earned my Masters in School Administration from UNC Pembroke. I joined the SanLee family as an administrator in April 2022.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and furbabies. I also love traveling, reading good books, and finding new local hot spots to enjoy!
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns.
