Welcome! My name is Candace Smith and this will be my 4th year as a teacher and 7 years total that I have worked at J. Glenn Edwards. I am native to Lee County and have called it home for 38 years now. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from St. Andrews University (GO KNIGHTS) in Laurinburg, NC. I am married and have a son who attends Lee County High School as a Sophomore this year. My husband and I also own our own heating & air business together that we started this year. I am an extreme pet lover. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy reading in my spare time and crafting. I have high expectations for this 2022-2023 school year and I truly BEElieve that it is going to be a great year!
