I have been in education as a Teacher Assistant, Elementary Teacher, and Middle/High School Science Teacher. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Science and I have also received my Masters in Science Curriculum and Instructions. I recently taught Science for 5 years at Bragg Street Academy and taught Elementary grades for 2 years prior. I served in the Air Force for 9 years within the Active and Reserve capacity and served 9 months overseas in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I am married and have 6 kids. My wife is a teacher, my oldest son is attending Western Carolina and my oldest daughter is attending East Carolina. I enjoy going to the beach more than the mountains. During my free time, I enjoy watching anime, My Hero Academia, and reading books, Michael Crichton.
