North Carolina utilizes the WIDA Standards as its standard course of study for English Language Development. The presentation below explains how to use the WIDA standards and resources for classroom instruction. Teachers can also find more information about the WIDA standards at WIDA's public site- https://wida.wisc.edu/. Lee County Schools educators who would like accounts to access online learning modules and other resources provided through the WIDA secure website should contact Angel Mills at amills@lee.k12.nc.us to inquire about obtaining an account.
