Hi! My name is Andrea Phipps and this is my 8th year at Deep River and my 5th year teaching! I am originally from Chatham County and received my bachelor degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University, and received my teaching certification from St. Andrew's University. I have one daughter, Charlotte, who is almost two years old, and I have been married to my husband, Parker, for 5 years.

Reading and spending time with my family are my favorite things to do! My favorite place in the whole world is the mountains, and winter is my favorite season if it involves lots of snow! (Just don't tell Mrs. Lundy I said that!)
