  • Our third grade students are applying their understanding by responding to daily COSTA questions. In math, students work together to solve problems daily. For literacy, students create two and three column vocabulary notes weekly before delving into the content. In writing, students edit each other's writing pieces and revise their own based on rubrics. In social studies, students explore the content through the use of real maps, illustrations of their own making, two and three column notes, Google Earth, and more. Do not forget to check agendas daily! Students write all their homework down at the beginning of the week. School information reminders can also be found in student agendas.
