    Hello! My name is Angie Hegwer.  I am a Sanford native and attended Lee County Schools from K – 12th grade. I am beginning my 15th year of my teaching career.  I am beginning my 8th year at SanLee.  I received my BS in Elementary Education (K-6) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  I taught 6th grade for 5 years at West Lee Middle School and 5th grade at Tramway Elementary for 2 years.  

    My family consists of my husband, two daughters and two furbabies.   My oldest daughter attends East Carolina University and my youngest daughter attends North Carolina State University.  

    I enjoy spending my free time with my daughters, at the beach, shopping, cheering on NCSU athletics, or at the gym.   I also enjoy teaching and learning with my students!
