    Basic Troubleshooting Tips and Solutions

     

    General Troubleshooting Tips (for all problems)

    • Have you tried turning it off and on again?
    • Make sure all cables are connected properly.

     

    Smartboard Troubleshooting Tips

    • Make sure all cables are connected properly
    • Make sure light at the bottom of the Smartboard is green
    • Try plugging your Smartboard into another USB port on your desktop or laptop
    • If it still doesn’t work, put the issue onto Tech Tracker

     

    Projector Troubleshooting Tips

    • Make sure all cables are connected properly
    • Check to see if the bulb indicator or power lights are flashing
    • If it still doesn’t work, put the issue on Tech Tracker

     

    Printer Troubleshooting Tips

    • Make sure printer is powered on
    • Make sure printer is connected to the network (check for a flashing light on the back of the printer where the network cable is plugged in)
    • Make sure all jammed paper is removed
    • If printer is running low on toner, gently rocking the cartridge at a 40 degree angle. DO NOT SHAKE THE CARTRIDGE!
    • If it still doesn’t work, put the issue onto Tech Tracker

     

    ELMO Troubleshooting Tips

    • Make sure all cables are connected properly
    • Try plugging ELMO into a different USB port
    • If it still doesn’t work, put the issue on Tech Tracker
