• My name is Jill Britt and I have been teaching for 25 years! I was a classroom teacher for 20 years and have been in my current role as a Literacy Specialist for 5 years! I love working with all of the children at Deep River and watching them grow as readers. I love Deep River Elementary, this community and all of the wonderful children who live and go to school here! 

    My family moved to the Deep River community 19 years ago. My husband works in sales and our children Jake, Noah and Madison all attended Lee County schools. Jake and Noah are now college graduates and working full time. My daughter Madison is a junior at NC State.  My family loves the beach, the mountains, playing golf, soccer, traveling and just spending time together. We love the Wolfpack and never miss a football or basketball game! I understand how a busy household operates and will help you with any issues your child might be having.
