Dr. Andy Bryan

Biographical Information

Dr. Andy Bryan began his career in education as a history teacher and basketball and football coach. His career path took him through the roles of athletic director and assistant principal before becoming the principal at Rockbridge County High School in Virginia.

Dr. Bryan joined Lee County Schools in 2006 as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.

Dr. Bryan was named Superintendent of Lee County Schools in July 2013.

Dr. Bryan is a graduate of Longwood College and the University of Virginia, where he received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

He and his wife live in Sanford with their two children, Drew and Austyn.
