  • SMLS Students Artwork To Be Displayed in Washington, DC

Congratulations to SanLee Middle School's eighth grader, Abril Salinas, who has had her art work selected for display at the Lyndon B. Johnson Department of Education building in Washington DC this summer, June through July, in an exhibit sponsored by the North Carolina Art Education Association.

Abril's artwork will be featured with other art from students throughout the state of North Carolina. Her piece is a monochromatic acrylic painting of a girl in blue. She created it while in Mrs. Duncan's class last semester.  We are all so proud of this Stallion!
