Dear Parent or Caretaker,

Welcome to Lee County Schools and Lee County.  After a recent influx of new residents to Lee County, Student Services at Lee County Schools felt that there were often gaps in the information that new residents receive upon coming to our area.  We believe that we, and the school district, need to assist our families in locating services that may be needed immediately upon coming to our county or down the road as children get older and circumstances change. You may need a new doctor or guidance in knowing where to turn or who to call if you need a referral or someone to point you in the right direction to address a specific need.  Lee County Schools is here to help.

First and foremost, the Lee County Schools website is an excellent place to begin.  By accessing your child’s school website or the Lee County NC Schools District website, you can find a lot of information..  The District website is a one stop website where you can find information on School Calendars, Menus, Links for enrollment, transfers and withdrawals, links for free and reduced lunch forms, bus routes, school closures, and much, much more.

If you look under Departments, you will see Student Services, which will give contact information for your child’s school social worker and counselor who can link you to various resources around the county.  If you click on the link for School Counselors, you will see a listing of the school counselors, along with their email addresses and the school where they are located. Beside each Social Worker’s name, you will find a listing of each of the schools that they serve. And their contact information.   If you or your family needs assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school social worker or counselor so that they can assist.  We may not always have all of the answers, but we will be happy to work with you and your child in order to point you in the right direction.

Here is some basic information on resources that you may find helpful.
