LEC Students Accepted into the NC Sli High School Scholars Program: Fourteen LEC freshmen have been accepted in the North Carolina Scholars' Latino Initiative as part of the High School Scholars Program. They will be participating in a three year program to explore culture, college, and leadership. Congratulations!
Regional Math Contest: Eight LEC freshmen and sophomores competed at the annual Regional Math Contest held at Wake Tech Community College on Thursday, March 23rd. The team placed in the top ten for level 3. Freshman Mackenzie Roche placed 10th overall for level 3. She will advance to the state competition in Greensboro.
Construction and Traffic Pattern Change: Important!
Due to the upcoming construction projects commencing at CCCC, LEC is announcing the following parking and traffic changes. The major change is the road alongside Joyner Hall will be blocked off due to construction. For this reason, we are making the following adjustments in our traffic pattern.
The construction is tentatively scheduled to last one year. If further changes are needed we will keep you informed.
