  • The North Carolina state law requires that we check every student health record to be sure each student meets the minumum immunizations for that age child.  Seventh grade requires the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV) and a Tdap (tetnus, diphtheria, and pertussis booster) vaccine.  All students must produce up-to-date shot records to the school within 30 days from the start of school.  Students that do not receive the required shots by Sept. 27 will be excluded from school beginning Sept. 28.  Please contact Nurse Nancy Blackman for questions at 919-708-7227 ext 1531 (7:30 am until 3:00 pm)

  • Dear Sixth and Seventh Grade Parent,

Hi!  We have been working with Lee County School for many years to help understand how to keep kids safe and happy as they transition to adolescence.  We are starting a new project for ALL sixth and seventh grade students in Lee County, and we need you to please complete a parental permission form.

Please click this link https://unc.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3gSleAvOZyrOgS1 to indicate whether or not we have your permission to include your child.  Just for completing the form, we will give your child a $5 gift card (whether you grant or deny consent), and if you child participates, they will earn up to $40.

Thanks in advance!  Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or any way I can help at all.

    Thanks!

    Mitch Prinstein, Ph.D.

Professor, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
